The Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman Bruce Billson examined the impact of the implementation of the 1 July 2022 changes to the Commonwealth Procurement Rules on small and family businesses. The Inquiry was referred to the Ombudsman by the Minister for Finance, Katy Gallagher.
A final report with recommendations was provided to the Australian Government in December 2023. The Government released the final report on 1 May 2024.
