Unsung Business Hero - Karen Lebsanft
Co-founder and CEO of Kurrajong Kitchen, Karen Lebsanft, started in the restaurant industry 26 years ago.
She recalls how, with her chef husband Ben, they began making 30 packets of lavosh flat bread a week to sell to customers of their restaurant. Now their business produces over 750,000 pieces of lavosh a day. Kurrajong Kitchen lavosh, along with their other products, are stocked in all major supermarkets across the country.
Her advice for young start-ups and businesses across the country: "There’s a gem in my story that someone can grow and yes, you CAN do it!"
