We are seeking to fill various vacancies at the APS Level 5 and APS Level 6 classifications in the Assistance team.
Case Managers are responsible for all aspects of a request for assistance to resolve a dispute, involving a diverse range of stakeholders and issues. The assistance function provides small business and family enterprise an option to have their issues heard by an independent party with a focus on understanding options for resolution. We also manage disputes under the Franchising, Oil and Horticulture Codes as well as taxation appeals to the Administrative Appeals Tribunal.

Analysts are responsible for all aspects of policy research and advice to the Ombudsman, involving a diverse range of matters and stakeholders. The team is comprised of people with varied backgrounds and skill sets, including economics/statistics, law, accounting, business, finance, public policy and political science.
